Hardware
Hardware you can rely
on when it truly matters.
Whether in theaters, museums, on tour, at corporate events, in theme parks, in TV productions & live broadcasts, or aboard a cruise ship in the middle of the Atlantic: our server family, made up of the Compact Server GEN 1 and Server L GEN 1, grows with every challenge.
From a lean single-output setup to a highly scaled multi-GPU system with genuine live-input capability.
Security
Low-maintenance, future-proof, and ready to perform.
This care doesn't stop at the hardware. Both models run on Windows 11 and are continuously supplied with security updates. In sensitive environments, e.g. aboard a ship, inside an airport, or at a public facility, downtime simply isn't an option. It is for this reason that a highly evolved and reliable software foundation isn't an afterthought to us, it's our promise to you.
Reliability
No second chance. That's why we build systems that deliver.
Because we know one thing from years of experience: the moment the curtain rises, the audience is waiting, or thousands of guests on board expect a flawless experience, there is no second chance. We offer industry defining operational reliability, down to the very last hardware component, backed by the same dependability our software has been valued for over the years. This reliability is no accident, it's the result of extremely high engineering standards.

- Full mosaic mode, built-in EDID management
- Audio: 7.1 Realtek onboard, native Dante implementation, optional RME Digiface Dante
Great ideas rarely wait for the right amount of space. Small in size, massive in performance: the Compact Server GEN 1 packs high-end rendering power into a chassis measuring just 17.9 × 3.7 × 18.29 cm and weighing only 1.4 kg. Where a bulky server used to be required, one compact unit now does the job — slipping easily into hand luggage, a trade show case, or the equipment closet behind a museum display, without ever compromising on performance.
Storage Kits
- SK1 — 1 TB · up to 7 GB/s
- SK2 — 4 TB · up to 7 GB/s
Don't let the size fool you — this puts the Compact Server GEN 1 well ahead of its predecessor, the Pandoras Box Compact Player, on nearly every front: more processing power from the new CPU generation, more memory, noticeably faster storage thanks to the latest in Storage Technology, and roughly 30% less weight — all while delivering uncompromising, razor-sharp, high-quality rendered content in NotchLC. Big ambitions, small footprint.
Whether it's curved projection surfaces, unconventional exhibition objects, or complex mapping scenarios, the Compact Server GEN 1 handles warping and mapping with ease, turning even the most demanding content presentations into a breeze — so your idea, not your hardware, stays the center of attention.
Beyond raw performance, our systems excel in absolute operational reliability — on the hardware side just as much as on the software side. The Compact Server GEN 1 runs on Windows 11 and is continuously supplied with security updates by us. In sensitive environments — a museum, a trade show, or any installation where downtime simply isn't an option — a consistently up-to-date, hardened software foundation isn't an extra. It's our promise to you.
The Compact Server GEN 1 is optimized for playback and rendering — live signals via an internal PCIe capture card are not supported on this model. For any application built around high-quality, pre-rendered content, it's exactly the right choice.
The Compact Server GEN 1 proves that a compact form factor and high-end performance aren't mutually exclusive. For museums, trade shows, immersive experiences, and any application where space and mobility matter, it's the natural evolution of the proven Compact Player — faster, stronger, lighter, and ready wherever inspiration strikes.

Some projects don't leave room for a second attempt. When the show starts, the ship sails, or thousands of eyes turn toward the screen, everything has to simply work. That's the standard we build to. Where the Compact Server GEN 1 is the perfect fit for smaller applications, the Server L GEN 1 picks up right where maximum performance — and maximum trust — is required. Server-grade hardware built for 24/7 operation, a modular system of performance, storage, and graphics kits, plus genuine live-input capability make it the successor to our established Pandoras Box Server lineup — the right configuration for every application, and for every moment that matters.
This is where craftsmanship shows: optional Nvidia Frame Sync enables frame- and sample-accurate synchronization across multiple systems, so every screen breathes in perfect unison. 10-bit color output covers even the most color-critical applications, and broad codec support — including NotchLC and native playback of large image sequences (BMP, TIF, PNG, DDS, DDSA) — handles both high-resolution footage and generative content with Notch Blocks, including live block editing. Nothing here is left to chance.
Beyond raw performance, our systems excel in absolute operational reliability — on the hardware side just as much as on the software side. The Server L GEN 1 runs on Windows 11 and is continuously supplied with security updates by us. In sensitive environments — aboard a cruise ship, in an airport, or in any facility where downtime simply isn't an option — a consistently up-to-date, hardened software foundation isn't an extra. It's our promise to you.
A front OLED display, IPMI remote management, and a rugged build for continuous operation mean year-long deployments without a restart are the norm, not the exception. The Server L GEN 1 is the natural evolution of our established Pandoras Box Server lineup — built for the projects where every bit of performance counts, and where you simply cannot afford to worry.
